Title: Payroll Assistant
Location: Trenton, NJ (Onsite)
Work Authorization: USC only (W2)
We are hiring a Payroll Assistant for one of our clients in Trenton, NJ.
Job Description:
- Under the supervision of a supervisor, will be required to learn how to utilize various types of electronic and computerized information systems used by the division or related agencies.
- Prepares and processes claim benefits using computerized information systems, ensuring that all pertinent information has been included and is accurate. Reissue payments for lost and returned checks.
- Liaison with claim petitioners and various vendors;
- Assist with claim benefit questions and claim payee registration.
Skills required:
- Ability to use computer and Microsoft outlook
- Ability to comprehend and learn the rules and regulations regarding salary and benefit calculations.
- Ability to make arithmetic calculations quickly and accurately by hand or machine.
Education required:
- High school graduate with at least one year of related experience
Work hours:
- 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
