Responsibilities of a Electrical Construction Project Manager:
- Oversee sub contractors and team members
- Knows the approximate estimated time that was budgeted to do each task, and whether it can be done most efficiently with one worker, two, or a larger crew
- Provide customer estimations
- Preparing the site and liaising with other construction professionals such as architects, engineers, buyers, and surveyors before construction work starts
- Order materials
- Working outside in all elements, typical construction site conditions from underground installations all the way to finished buildings office/work site visits, must wear appropriate PPE in performing tasks on site
- Assure duties are completed in a timely and accurate manor
- Occasionally run equipment
Qualifications of a Electrical Construction Project Manager:
- 1 year of Electrical Construction Project Management required
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or other related discipline preferred
- Experience managing, mentoring, and leading a team of foreman and field staff
- experience with small, medium, and large commercial projects required
- Experience with project estimation required
- Ability to carry up to 50 lbs. on a consistent basis
- 3-5 years of electrical field experience preferred
