Position Description: The Phoenix Distribution Center is looking for a dynamic and motivated Facilities Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a company that is rewarding, high paced in professional work environment. The successful candidate will be well-rounded in industrial mechanical and electrical skills, repair experience and knowledge of a broad range of complex facility systems. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform complex technical tasks. Primary duties include maintaining the conveyor system and keeping equipment functioning properly and smoothly without disruptions. Troubleshoot any arising issues with the system and other building concerns as needed. The ability to work the hours listed above, in addition to overtime. Overtime is mandatory due to our real-time commitments to our customers. Willing to pay for experience. Schedule: Full-time, Mid Shift: Monday through Friday, start time between 12pm and 3pm. Training for the first 1-2 months of employment will be on Night Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 5:30pm to 4:00am. Overtime is mandatory due to our real-time commitments to our customers. Job Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to the following): Support facility by performing maintenance and repair duties on conveyors and all associate systems including printers, strappers, ladders and power equipment as directed by Facility Manager & Lead. Weather response 24/7 On Call Assist in trouble shooting conveyor electronics Conveyor repair (rollers etc.) PM dock doors, levelers, dock locks Facilities Inspections as assigned by Lead Light Electrical and plumbing as directed Operating power equipment for setup and operational support Inspect freezer/coolers- daily with report Power equipment & Carts Battery Area Provide support for testing procedures External vendor support Minimum Qualifications: Typically requires 1 years of related experience Additional Qualifications: 1 years' experience with electrical and/or mechanical repair, assembly, troubleshooting, etc. Good attitude Self-motivated Problem solving skills Familiarity with hand and power tools Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree/professional certifications in mechanical, electrical maintenance or related field Experience performing PMs and repairs on conveyors Experience performing maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on a wide variety of electronic and electro-mechanical systems in a distribution center environment.
