We are now accepting resume/applications for EXPERIENCED Irrigation Technicians for the Thibodaux, LA & surrounding area. Duties/Responsibilities may/may not be limited to the following:

• Job Scope:
  • Performing basic irrigation activities required at residential or commercial locations including monitoring targeted areas for potential and existing problems.
• Requirements for Position:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Clean MVR
  • Must be able to pass background check
• Required Skills:
  • Ability to work independently and self motivated
  • Ability to use smart phone technology/app for time keeping and updating work tickets (VERY IMPORTANT)
  • Great customer service skills
  • Ability to work with others
  • Team player, able to get along with a diverse group of people working towards a common goal
• Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Execute daily work instructions received from Supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Transport merchandises/material as needed.
  • Inspect merchandise upon delivery to identify any damages.
  • Installing irrigation systems and ensuring proper function
  • Repairing and maintaining valves, tracing electrical components, installing and initializing timing systems, and performing pump repairs
  • Locating existing zones and valves
  • Building and maintaining good relations with customers through effective communication and regular site visits
  • Maintain a record of products used, problems encountered, or other information essential to each job
  • Working outdoors and under varying environmental conditions is expected
  • Maintain the work area clean, safe and organized.
  • Work effectively to meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Practice safety procedures in accordance with training and guidelines when working.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 LBS
  • Must be able to work long hours
  • Good stamina & physical health
  • Ability to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions (heat, cold, dusty, dirty and/or wet conditions)
• Documents Required:
  • Driver's License/Identification
  • Social Security Card/Birth Certificate
• MUST be able to provide PPE (Hard hat, steel toes, safety glasses, & gloves)
• MUST be able to pass drug screen and criminal background
• MUST have reliable transportation.
• Pay:
  • $15.00 - $18.00 (Based on Experience)
  • Weekly Pay
  • Pay Schedule: Monday - Sunday
• Schedule:
  • 8 - 10 Hour Days
  • Monday - Friday (weekends as needed)
• Duration of Job: Temp to Hire
