Navigation Marine Electronics Field Technician
Responsible for the installation, configuration, operations, maintenance, troubleshooting and resolution of customer technical problems for Navigation Marine Electronics systems on recreational vessels, commercial vessels, shipping vessels, etc.
Testing, troubleshooting, and repairing 12/24V DC, 115/220 AC equipment systems
Experience with handheld devices and operate computer or test equipment (e.g. RF signal level meters, multi-meters, cable testers, handheld applications, etc.)
Ability to interpret and understand field sheet notes, schematics, maps, and drawings
Accuracy in tracking time, mileage and materials utilized per attendance
Interact professionally with clients, property owners, contractors as needed
Communicate effectively in person, by email, and by phone
Proper use of hand tools and power tools on a daily basis
Practice and adhere to all safety training, identify and mitigate hazards that may impact job performance and ensure availability and proper use of all safety equipment (PPE) required.
Experience with handheld devices and operate computer or test equipment (e.g. RF signal level meters, multi-meters, cable testers, handheld applications, etc.)
Ability to interpret and understand field sheet notes, schematics, maps, and drawings
Knowledge of Navigation Marine Electronics
5 years of experience working on vessels
Cable installation on vessels and rigs
Ability to travel domestically, internationally, and work overtime
Ability to work independently
Verifiable references

Valid Driver's License
Valid Social Security Card/Birth Certificate
Valid TWIC card, or ability to obtain one
FCC License highly desirable
Pay:
DOE
Weekly Pay
Pay Schedule: Monday-Sunday
