Job Overview:

This position is responsible for the maintenance, and/or repair, of a mobile home park. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the ground clean up and home remodeling, along with service request as needed.

Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8am to 5pm. However, employees must be available for varying start times, overtime, weekends as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain safety as the top priority in all aspects of your work.
• Basic plumbing experience is a must
• Respond to service requests related to plumbing, electrical, lighting and general maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks for equipment and community in accordance with company's guidelines.
• Ground work - maintain grounds and curb appeal.
• Recommend methods or training to continuously improve maintenance performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience performing maintenance related tasks
• Experience in a skill trade area preferred (i.e., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to research and resolve issues
• Ability to conduct and complete Company business in a professional and ethical manner
• Ability to lift equipment and access covers weighing in excess of 70 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders to roofs, ceilings, and signs
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and special equipment to complete work assignments
• Ability to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching
