About the Role:
- The Tester will work closely with our Software Engineers and Hardware Engineers on regression tests at the completion of the development cycle, ultimately responsible for fully testing our security detection product to ensure it functions properly and meets requirements.
- This involves testing both software and hardware in embedded systems against a regression test plan.
- Candidates must have experience working with both software and hardware systems. Formal test reporting and documentation generation are required.
- Software release testing - all stages of testing on Scanner, Image Analysis Stations, and Algorithm emulators.
- Documentation - create formally released documentation. Tech writing experience is highly desired.
- Must be able to commute to Tewksbury, MA office on a daily basis.
- Must be proficient in writing, maintaining, and executing test cases derived from requirements.
- Proficient in using test cases and bug management tools. ADO preferred.
- Able to clearly document defects in bug tracking and communicate effectively with the SW development team.
- Familiar with Windows 10 or 2019 server OS and its apps such as with regedit, services, computer management, etc.
