OVERVIEW :

The Youth Program Aide is responsible for carrying out tasks related to the programs of the Community Center and assist with various duties as assigned by the Coordinator and / or Director.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Plan and coordinate youth activities and events throughout the year
• Work with the local schools and service clubs to promote programs
• Adhere to and implement Safe from Harm
• Other related duties as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Experience working with youth

SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

• Team player
• Organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (Usually file boxes)

EQUIPMENT USED :

Modern Office Equipment and Relevant Software
