Hawkins Construction Company is Hiring a Contract Administrator Near Tarpon Springs, FL

Hawkins Construction, a leading Commercial General Contracting firm, is seeking a Contract Administrator with experience in commercial construction of ground up Retail, Big Box Retail, Supermarkets, Municipal, Mixed Use, Medical Office or Multi-Family projects. We are looking for a seasoned project manager that would enjoy a permanent office position who would be focused on our subcontractor procurement responsibilities and would no longer be required to travel or be stationed in the field.
The position requires a minimum of 7 years of commercial construction experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook is required. College degree and bi-lingual preferred but not required.
We are looking for an individual who can adapt to a fast-paced environment, while being able to interact on a daily basis with different departments. Primary responsibilities include initial project budget setup received from the estimating department, thoroughly reviewing plans and specifications, further developing subcontract scopes of work, hiring subcontractors/purchasing materials, writing contracts & purchase orders, coordination with the project team.
