Applicants must be local to the United States at this time.Position Overview Technical Writer
- Write and edit technical documentation, user manuals and training literature. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts and limited industry knowledge. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity and refer more complex issues to higher levels. Work under direct supervision.
- Ability to provide documentation and administrative support for software development teams and projects.
- Ability to transcribe recordings and create meeting notes.
- Ability to prepare, run, and distribute Project Reports, as needed.
- 3 years of experience with reviewing documentation for grammatical accuracy
- 2 years of previous experience supporting online help content using RoboHelp.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associate degree (or 3 years of additional work experience in replacement of educational requirements).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
- Knowledge of running 508 Compliance with MS Word
- Knowledge of MS Office, Power Point, and Adobe Professional.
