Overview

The Technical Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that business requirements are clearly communicated and effectively implemented in our technology systems.

Responsibilities

· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

· Translate business needs into technical specifications, ensuring that technical solutions align with business goals and requirements.

· Conduct feasibility studies and impact analysis for proposed solutions.

· Act as the primary liaison between business units and development teams.

· Facilitate clear and effective communication between stakeholders and technical teams.

· Assist in the design and development of technical solutions to meet business needs.

· Review and validate technical designs and specifications.

· Participate in project planning, execution, and monitoring, managing project timelines, resources and risks.

· Create and maintain project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and user manuals.

· Develop and execute test plans to ensure that technical solutions meet business requirements.

· Identify, document, and track defects and issues through to resolution.

· Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate feedback with development teams.

· Provide ongoing support for implemented solutions, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.

· Develop training materials as needed and conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders.

· Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.

· Preferred Certifications: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).

· 3-5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, or similar role.

· Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and database management.

· Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).

· Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) and software tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
