Groundskeeping worker needed to perform a wide range of custodial and grounds work. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Mowing, weeding, raking, trimming, painting, waxing, polishing, using ladders, cleaning ceilings, repairing and/or replacing fixtures; moving furniture, cabinets and other equipment, sweeping, and other groundskeeping tasks.
• Assist in the physical operation of the property.
• Follow directives of Buildings & Grounds Director and School Administration to ensure campus needs are being met.
• Provide information on effectiveness of maintenance, custodial, warehouse/delivery, copy center, and other operations functions.
• Follow schedule of routine maintenance and tasks to ensure completion of duties.
• Report to Director of Buildings & Grounds on status of completed and pending projects.
• Provide information to Director for ordering equipment and services related to maintenance and custodial departments.
• Provide information to Director of Buildings & Grounds regarding inventory of equipment, parts and supplies.

Requirements

• Must be able to learn quickly, follow directions, assist with routine maintenance and other duties.
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license
• Must pass a Level II background check and have experience with repairing and painting
