Horizon Partners Northwest, Inc. is Hiring an Administrative Assistant/Office Manager Near Tacoma, WA

Small R.E. Development & Property Management Company is seeking an exceptionally talented, dependable, resourceful, self-motivated Administrative/Office Manager. S/he must have an aptitude to learn quickly, the ability to multi-task, general accounting experience, along with the ability to work independently with limited supervision and communicate efficiently.

Must be a “hands-on” person --

Job duties include:

  • Receive, direct and follow-up on incoming phone calls
  • Open mail, filing, copying, on-going maintenance of systems and general office management
  • Dealing with new and existing tenants on a regular basis
  • Accounts receivable and payables work – includes data entry and posting of monthly rents, tenant charge backs and billing statements, for both property management and construction
  • Intercompany billing of maintenance, construction cost and billable employees
  • Coordination of maintenance request from tenants with in-house technicians and outside vendors, as needed
  • Assist with marketing activities (appreciation events, holiday gifts, etc.)
  • Business letter preparation
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications - 2 years of professional experience in a management support position

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with accounting software a bonus – working knowledge of Yardi a plus
  • Ability to learn/pick things up in quickly
  • Strong organizational/clerical skills, with the ability to interact effectively with others
  • Desire to work in a service-oriented environment
  • Professional appearance and attitude at all times
  • High level of honesty and integrity
