Tucson Unified School District is Hiring a Library Assistant Near Tucson, AZ
Responsible for the overall management of a Library by ensuring appropriate library materials are available to students and staff. Communicates verbally, in writing and on the computer. May or may not collaborate with on-site Library Media Specialist.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma Or G.E.D.ANDCompletion of an AZ Dept. of Education-approved Academic Assessment Test.ORAssociate's Degree (or higher degree)ORTwo-years (60 Semester-Hour credits) of study at an institute of higher learning
Two years of general office and/or library work experience.Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIREFBI fingerprint background check.Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

FTE: 0.5 - 4 hours per dayWork Calendar: 9.5 month

Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.
