Job Title: Armed Security Officer
Location: Tampa Bay, FL.
Position Type: Full time & Part time positions
Preferred Background: Law Enforcement and Military Experience is a Plus
Requirements:
- Possession of a valid Armed Security License with the State of Florida
- Proven experience as an Armed Security Officer is preferred
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Must have an Armed Security Guard Card
Compensation: $17 per hour
Shifts:
Full time: Monday-Friday from 4pm to 12am/ 12am to 8am
Part-time: Saturday and Sunday from 4pm to 12am and 12am to 8am
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols and monitor premises to ensure the security of the property
- Act as a visible deterrent to prevent illegal activities
- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Handle security issues and emergencies professionally
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other emergency response agencies when necessary
