What we are looking for:
We are looking for Senior Data Engineers to join our team and work alongside a leading Australian organisation.
Initial 6 month contract extensions. Sydney based, hybrid with 2 days per week in the office.
Skills/experience required:
- 7-10 Years data engineering experience
- 4 Years in-depthPython programming experience(Pandas, Polars data engineering in Python)
- Object oriented and functional paradigms experience
- 5 Years in-depthSQL experience(design patterns and strategies for processing data)
- Minimum 1-2 years commercialdocker experience
- Minimum 1 years experience withTerraform
- CICDworkflow tool (i.e. GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines or GCP Workflows)
- Commercial experience using cloud technologies i.eGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure or AWS
- Highly desirable - Experience with BigQuery, Airflow, Cloud composer etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - essential
