The Marketing team at UpGuard includes multiple marketing and design functions, including Product Marketing, Demand Gen, Marketing Ops, Content Marketing, SEO, Community, Design, and Video. UpGuard’s vision is to become a leader in the markets we play in (Cyber VRM, Attack Surface Management) by providing a best-in-class SaaS platform for organizations to manage their third-party risk and external attack surface. Our purpose as a Marketing team is to facilitate this goal by growing UpGuard with a repeatable and scalable marketing engine and a leading brand.

Why are we hiring this role?

As UpGuard continues to scale at a rapid rate, we’re now looking for a Frontend Developer to join our growing Marketing team.

What will you accomplish?

• Work with a cross-functional Growth Marketing squad focused on shipping high-impact growth campaigns.
• Take campaign specifications and collaborate with web designers and copywriters to produce digital outcomes that will achieve the team's objectives.
• Build out HTML/CSS solutions directly in Webflow.
• Implement bespoke design, layouts, and animations in custom code.
• Work with the broader design team to meet our style and quality standards and support this with technical design system implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to incorporate feedback and suggestions.
• Manage integrations with the broader marketing stack including CMS, booking & email platforms.

• Proven track record of leading web design projects in cross functional teams.
• Strong experience in UX design methodologies, design patterns, and design systems.
• Design thinking skills and the ability to positively critique design.
• Strong experience in collaborative design software such as Figma.
• Exceptional knowledge of HTML, CSS, and frontend Javascript frameworks.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills.
• Proven ability to adapt in a fast paced startup environment.

• A portfolio of projects that highlights your eye for design. Bonus points if you keep a design swipe file.
• Strong experience coding with frontend JavaScript frameworks (and/or vanilla DOM APIs) to create bespoke interactive web experiences.
• An interest in motion design and web-based motion and animation libraries.
