The position offers the opportunity for a paralegal to join an positive and energetic team focused on maintaining great relationships with clients through the residential closing process.

Again, we are seeking a team player who is self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, and possesses strong time-management and organizational skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Draft closing documents, including deeds, powers of attorney and affidavits.
• Review title examinations, exceptions to titles, prepare necessary documents to correct or clear title;
• Coordinate closing logistics;
• Obtain all pre-closing information (payoffs, HOA) prepare ALTA and CDs; disburse the file as to the funds, including setting up the outgoing wires.;
• Ability to work on multiple matters simultaneously and multi-task

The successful candidate will be detail oriented, efficient and have the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment. Candidates should know Landtech or be willing to learn and demonstrate the ability to organize, prioritize and complete tasks under strict time constraints.

Candidates are requiredto have at least five (5) previous years of real estate lawwith substantial experience in reviewing and clearing title. The candidate must have the ability to work overtime as needed. Must pass full background check and have excellent references. Our office is in the East Cobb area.
