This position is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or those wanting to jump-start their accounting careers. Working closely with the Plant General Manager, you will be responsible for month-end journal entries, assisting with the annual operating budget, and managing inventory. Ideal candidates have some experience with cost accounting, whether through coursework or professional work experience. This role is perfect for someone who doesn't want to sit behind a desk all day, as our client encourages engagement with team members and being active on the production floor. Plant Accountant (Entry level; Cost Accounting knowledge req) ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly journal entries and financial reports
Assist with annual operating budgets
Receive raw materials and manage inventory cycle-counts
Conduct physical inventories during month-end closing
Track weekly and monthly spending
Engage with plant-level teams
Handle sales/use tax reporting and accounting
Travel up to 20 days to corporate office
Plant Accountant (Entry level; Cost Accounting knowledge req) QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
Cost Accounting Experience (academic Or Professional) RequiredProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook and Excel) required
Ability to work on-site and travel 15-20 days/year required
