We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to join our team. As a DSP at Connections NW, you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of the individuals we serve.
OIS certification is a plus!!!!
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance, care, and support to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication management, and mobility.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment that promotes independence, inclusion, and dignity.
- Assist individuals in participating in social, recreational, and community activities.
- Implement individualized care plans and document individual progress and interactions.
- Communicate effectively with team members, families, and other stakeholders to ensure the best quality of care.
- Promote and maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere for the individuals served.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 18 years of age
- OIS certification is a plus
- Pass a criminal history background check
- Valid driver’s license
- Auto insurance and a reliable vehicle
- Smartphone
- Work when scheduled based on the customer needs
- Complete First Aid & CPR Certification
- 24 Hours of paid training yearly
Job Type: Part-time or full-time positions, flexible hours, including afternoons, evenings and weekends.
Salary: $24.00/hr to $26.00/hr
