Astria Health is seeking a Revenue Cycle Manager to join our team!

As the Revenue Cycle Manager, you will be responsible for responsible for direct leadership and oversight for both the Customer Service and Account Billing departments, ensuring efficient operations and patient experience, and demonstrated success at driving team performance and resolving complex billing issues to maximize reimbursement and maintain financial integrity. You will:

  • Manage daily operations of the Insurance Billing and Customer Service departments, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Direct a multifaceted team, including front desk staff, team leads, charity application processors, and representatives handling calls, voicemails, mail, and assigned lists.
  • Responsible for all aspects of staff management, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance billing efficiency, reduce days in A/R, and improve overall patient satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze billing and customer service data to identify trends, forecast performance, and implement solutions to improve financial outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to streamline processes, resolve billing discrepancies, and ensure timely reimbursement.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring that all patient inquiries and billing issues are resolved promptly and with the highest level of professionalism.
  • Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
  • Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization.

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Health Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical billing and account follow-up within a healthcare setting.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Oral and written fluency in the English language

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive compensation range for candidates hired into each position. Pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. This position is not associated with a union contract.
