Surge Staffing is Hiring an Electrical Assembler Near Sunbury, OH

Job DescriptionPosition Accountabilities
  • Receive work assignment and instructions; secure and use drawings, records and wiring diagrams to plan and lay out wiring to locate electrical fixtures, controls and devices, and to ascertain size of wires, cables and conduit, for all types of machine tools
  • Lay out, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit as required
  • Lay out, measure and cut wires and cables to required lengths; run wire through conduits and make all necessary connections to complete circuits as specified
  • Position and mount electrical equipment, fixtures, cabinets, pipe braces, stands, etc.
  • The ability to assemble electrical components from a drawing, provided by our engineering department to meet precise customer expectations.
  • The ability to meet production objectives consistent with established deadlines for work completion.
  • Accomplish task within department budgets.
  • Be a productive department member and communicate openly.
Position Requirements:
  • Read a tape measure.
  • Prior experience laying out and building panels, as well as conducting quality checks.
  • Knowledge of basic math skills.
  • Be a productive department member and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials.
  • Must be able to lift 80lbs safely.
  • Must be willing to work Overtime, Weekends and or 2nd shift as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Must be willing to learn and work in other departments as needed.
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma, or GED
  • Associates degree or certifications relating to electrical assembly preferred.
  • Experience reading electrical blueprints
  • Willingness to climb and work in close quarters while preforming essential job functions
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and a high degree of precision in executing assigned tasks.
Compensation And BenefitsThe salary for this position ranges between $18-$22 and based on experience. In addition, Bry-Air offers quarterly bonuses, and immediate eligibility of health insurance, along with other benefits.
