Coastal Material Handling, 5478 Nansemond Parkway, Suffolk, 23435, Is looking for a qualified or trainable service advisor for our growing forklift division. This is a part time position with room for growth. Great job for former auto store workers and mechanically inclined.

Ideal candidate qualifications-

· Familiar with mechanical parts, forklifts preferred.

· Comfortable with service software-Tinnacity

· Able to take calls and set up services for customers.

· Able to make service calls to existing customers.

· Strong phone skills

· Check parts in and report any issues to the service manager.

· Cycle count inventory for accurate counts.

Candidates familiar with quickbooks and accounts payable/recievable are encouraged to apply.

The hours (totaling approx. 24-40 per week) are flexible as service manager needs. We do not work weekends but are on call. Service manager handles weekend emergency calls.
