Confidential is Hiring a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Near Sturbridge, MA

Your role will be essential in ensuring our products meet high-quality standards and comply with all regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, testing, welding, and calibration.
  2. Serve as the main contact for customer audits.
  3. Review contracts to define quality requirements.
  4. Ensure compliance with industry specifications.
  5. Inspect materials and hardware for quality.
  6. Coordinate order shipments with inspection personnel.
  7. Address customer issues and corrective actions.
  8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  9. Collaborate with manufacturing for product quality.
  10. Develop and implement quality procedures.
  11. Maintain necessary documentation.
  12. Supervise Quality Inspectors.

Candidate Requirements:

Skills & Abilities:

  • Preferably ASQ Quality Engineer certification.
  • Proficient in machining and blueprint interpretation.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with GD&T and Defense Industry standards.
  • Experience with DOD Contractors is beneficial.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and welding requirements preferred.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience in quality engineering and auditing.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
