THEALPHAGROUP.COM is Hiring an Office Manager/Bookkeeper Near Stoughton, MA

An established family-owned company is currently seeking an Office Manager/Bookkeeper for a permanent position in Stoughton, MA.
Benefits Include:
  • 401k with company match, health, and dental insurance.
  • 2 weeks vacation.
  • 1-week sick time.
Responsibilities:
  • Support implementation of new ERP system.
  • Perform accounts payable tasks and monitor accounts receivable.
  • Make weekly/monthly payments and filing as needed.
  • Apply receipts and make deposits, and contact past-due accounts as needed.
  • Prepare payroll and record payroll tax liabilities.
  • Administer health and dental insurance.
  • Reconcile monthly premium statements and company bank statements.
  • Assist during open enrollment with Insurance Broker.
  • Entering weekly contributions for the 401K plan, handling loans and distributions according to IRS and 401K.
  • Prepare year-end information for the accountant.
  • Assist with workers' compensation audits on a yearly basis.
  • Assist management with organizing Trade shows and sales travel.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors in Business or Accounting.
  • Must have QuickBooks experience.
  • Previous bookkeeping experience.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office programs.
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or with co-workers.
Job Details:
  • Hours: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Friday.
  • Pay Rate: Starting at $32.00/hr.
