Long Island Speech is Hiring a Collections Assistant Near Stony Brook, NY
This is a full time position based in our Stony Brook office.
Requirements
- Communicate directly with patients regarding their financial responsibility for services received from Long Island Centers For Speech
- Document all calls timely and accurately
- Establish payment arrangements per company policy
- Manage both outstanding insurance and self-pay accounts
- Status for management of accounts
- Assist with other billing/collection duties, as needed
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Medical, Dental & Vision

- FML - Up to 12 weeks and 67% of salary for the care of a newborn or family member
- Compensation: $20.00-$22.00/hour depending upon experience
