Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist

Schedule: Monday - Friday, from 8am - 5pm

  • On July 7th, Ontex will be transitioning into running 24-7.
  • On July 7th, the new schedule will be 7am - 7pm, 2-2-3.

Reports To: Systems Coordinator

Job Description

  • As Cycle Counter / Inventory Assistant you are responsible for ensure accuracy of materials consumption on lines.
  • Developing and check physical materials flow and proper system update.
  • Carry out the supply.
  • Counting and identify raw materials in the machines.
  • Order and check raw material for production.
  • Recording the production and materials consumption in the system.
  • Make material consumption analysis looking for losses elimination and processes improvement.

Main Tasks

  • Strive for 0 accident.
  • Inventory control and Accuracy.
  • Order and check raw material for production.
  • Support raw material requests to production.
  • Ensure return of finished goods are done in accordance with the process.
  • Assist troubleshooting and correction of occurrences related raw materials and finished goods returns.
  • Analyzing the product code, description and required quantity for each item.
  • Count, identify and organize materials.
  • Check the availability and release of materials in the system, indicating their consumption, as well as archiving the order documentation.
  • Enforce the production schedule drawn up by the PCP, carry out the production orders closing.
  • Ensure all procedures applicable to the area are followed.
  • Constantly clean the workplace, following appropriate procedures for each type of task and equipment in accordance with SOPs (standard operating procedures) / IT (Work Instructions).
  • Comply with company standards, safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and code of ethics.
  • Create and keep updated the training modules to improve materials handling process.
  • Give trainings to Manufacturing crew.
  • Lead and coach team to deliver the KPIs.
  • Promote the continuous improvement culture.

  • Systems Coord, Manufacturing Manager, Financial Controller, Team/Production Leaders, Process Technicians, Operators, AMU Manager, Technical team, IT team, Project Team.

Requirements

  • College Education or Technical Education.
  • 2 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial, or related environment.
  • Materials control and inventory count.
  • Handling raw materials in industrial environments.
  • Collaborate with all functional departments on analysis.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to develop and document processes, procedures, work instructions and standards.
  • Maintain record keeping system.
  • Knowledge in MES and SAP.
