DURHAM APARTMENTS is Hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician Near Sterling, MI
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical, drywall, plumbing and HVAC. This position requires strong work ethic and be able to work on your own.
Duties:
- Perform routine routine electrical, drywall and plumbing repairs
- Respond promptly to maintenance request from staff and tenants
- Turn vacant units in a timely manor
- Pick up grounds daily
- Be able to lift over 50lbs
- Be able to go into crawl spaces
- Appliance repairs
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a maintenance tech.
- knowledge of drywall repair, hot water tanks, applicances, plumbing, some HVAC
- Problem solving skills
- Must have own tools
- Must have reliable transportation
- Familiarity with multi-family living
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with tenants and staff
