Titan SenQuest Management, Inc is seeking a Maintenance Director for Pine Ridge of Hayes, our senior living community in Sterling Heights, MI. The Maintenance Director is responsible for managing the community’s daily preventive maintenance program including inspection, repair, and general maintenance of the building, grounds and apartments.

Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare vacant resident apartments, including painting, carpet cleaning, and general repairs.

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building and equipment.

Understand and adhere to maintenance budget given by the Executive Director.

Responsible for proper use and storage of tools and materials.

Supervises housekeeping department.

Respond to emergency calls as needed.

Regular attendance is required.

Effectively communicate in English with residents and other employees.

Demonstrate high standards of ethics and personal accountability.

Follow all OSHA, Fire, Health Department and safety requirements.

Skills/Qualifications

High School Diploma and current driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Must have basic computer skills.

Three years’ experience in maintenance such as painting or carpentry required.

Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and general apartment and building maintenance required.

Experience in the safe handling of tools normally used in maintenance projects required.

Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
