Focus Behavioral Services is Hiring a Behavior Technician Near Stafford, VA

At Focus Behavioral Services, LLC, we believe in creating a family environment that nurtures the development of our staff as well as our clients. As part of our team, you will receive the training and supervision necessary to become/ maintain certified as a Registered Behavior Technician. We also offer supervision to individuals pursuing certification as a BCBA or BCaBA.
RESPONSIBILITIES of a Behavior Technician:
- Works 1:1 direct care implementing behavioral intervention programs to children diagnosed with autism in their homes.
- Attend monthly staff trainings.
- Receives supervision from a BCBA, for each client they work with.
- Observe and record child's behaviors through data input into an electronic device, log hours and data accurately.
- Communicate with supervisory staff
Immediate Hire LOCATION: We have a case in Woodbridge, VA and Lorton, VA.
Flexible Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8am - 8pm, Weekends optional
Preferred Candidates Will Possess:
- High school diploma (required)
- 40-hour RBT training (required)
- Previous ABA therapy experience (preferred)
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. (preferred)
- Caring, Compassionate and Professional personality
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Exercise Discretion and Maintain Confidentiality
- Experience With Special Needs Children (Required)
- Reliable Transportation
- Valid Driver’s License
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
