Inventory Supervisor Hourly Full Time Job Summary The Inventory Supervisor coordinates the incoming of material to be place in inventory. Prepares paperwork and material for allocation to plant production and reviews paperwork of incoming material. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Principal Duties and Responsibilities · Coordinates all incoming material shipments. · Determines placement of product as well as location that is entered into Epicor. · Verifies receiving documents and records any discrepancies. · Ensure that all incoming shipments are accurately and promptly processed. · Ensures all internal/external paperwork meets all UFP/ idX procedures. · Documents any shortage on orders, investigates reasons for occurrence, and informs purchasing and admin of the shortage. · Monitor the accuracy of all receiving records, including inventory and stock levels. · Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment. · Identify and resolve receiving and inventory discrepancies. · Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and accurate operations. · Develop and implement strategies to optimize process. · Takes and acts upon all calls for tracing and/or expediting orders. · Maintains proper documentation and records of incoming shipments. · May assist loading and unloading material from trucks or carts. · Prepares various reports and correspondence as required. · Performs other duties as required. Qualifications · Minimum high school diploma/GED · Minimum 6 months of experience in shipping and receiving or related area. · Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook · Basic knowledge of math. · Successful completion of forklift driver licensing process.
