Property Manager Position Available – HUD Section 8

We are seeking an exceptionally organized, approachable, and dedicated Property Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring resident satisfaction and maintaining the property’s overall appeal.

Responsibilities:

Enhance Resident Satisfaction:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to residents.
  • Address tenant concerns promptly and take effective action to resolve issues.

Property Maintenance:

  • Maintain cleanliness and attractive curb appeal of the property.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to promptly address any maintenance issues and fulfill resident service requests.

Compliance and Administration:

  • Oversee all administrative and compliance functions.
  • Ensure residents adhere to lease agreements and house rules.

Financial Management:

  • Manage rental collections and track tenant arrears.
  • Send arrears letters and follow up as necessary, discussing reports with the Asset Manager.

Unit Turnovers:

  • Supervise property unit turnovers.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance for move-out inspections and assess apartment turnover needs.

Occupancy Waitlist:

  • Administer and maintain the occupancy waitlist.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a HUD Property Manager, specifically with HUD Section 8
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Familiarity with Affordable Housing and Housing Programs.
  • Positive attitude and customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred experience using One Site/Real Page or Yardi.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Foster a productive and cooperative working atmosphere.
  • Spanish

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
