Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale, P.C. has an opening for an experienced trusts and estates paralegal with experience in tax return preparation. This is an in-office position with eligibility for occasional remote work.

Responsibilities Include:

• Preparing estate tax and gift tax returns.
• Assisting with probate administration, including opening/closing estates, e-filing, preparing accountings, and handling asset transfers.
• Assisting with trust funding and administration.
• Communicating with clients and advisors.

Qualified Applicants Will Have:

• 3 years of probate, trust and tax experience.
• General understanding of estate planning principles and trust funding procedures.
• Knowledge of beneficiary designation forms and ability to coordinate with clients' financial advisors.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and good judgment.
• Ability to manage high volume priorities while working with others to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, especially when working with clients.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe, required.
