The City of Webster Groves is accepting applications for a full-time Community Liaison. This position will provide comprehensive project support to the Grant Project Manager. Maintain the systems and processes used to support and monitor the project, ensuring it is delivered to agreed timeline and within budget. Communicate information about the project effectively through social media, press releases, website updates and other methods.
Under the direction of the Grant Project Manager, the Community Liaison performs a variety of tasks, coordinates public engagement efforts, works with consultants on deliverables and communicates with municipal and agency partners and community groups. Community Liaison will communicate about the projects through social media, press releases, website updates and other methods.
Requirements:
- Bachlor’s degree and minimum of one to two years in community engagement, public policy, or behavioral science.
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) certification or strong understanding of DEI principles and application.
- Five Strong analytical abilities, creative problem-solving skills, and project facilitator expertise is essential.
- Experience working with voluntary, statutory, social email or community groups.
- Experience within the field of planning, transportation, and or safety would be a plus
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
Compensation and Benefits:
Starting salary range is $63,554.82 annually (Depending on Qualifications), with excellent benefits.
