The Basics Of This PositionPerforms functions of Data Entry, filing, record keeping, and answering phones in a department office; orders supplies and assists in maintaining inventory.
What You'll Do
- Enters and checks information in the CRT/computer. May issue stock items and office supplies.
- Maintains filing system to ensure accurate and complete department records.
- May type file or inventory cards.
- Orders supplies and maintains inventory.
- Screens phone calls, answering questions or forwarding to appropriate personnel.
- Uses telephone, PC, copier, calculator.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
