Summit Human Capital, LLC is Hiring a Cyber Security Analyst [24-00210] Near St Louis, MO

Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated Cyber Security Analyst to support our Fortune 500 client. This person will be working hybrid-remotely in St. Louis, MO. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years with interpreting risks and impact within IT and cybersecurity environments
  • Requires expert knowledge of common information security regulations, frameworks and standards, including NERC CIP compliance
  • In-depth understanding of NIST framework
  • Experience using SIEM technologies to analyze security logs and dissect threats
  • Ability to effectively document and communicate technical concepts and requirements to non-technical and technical audiences, both verbally and written
  • Bachelor's degree in the subjects like computer science, information technology, and related subjects or comparable experience and certifications

Desired Skills:

  • Any CISSP, CAP, CISA, GSEC, or Security certifications

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop procedures and templates to formalize disaster response and information system contingency planning
  • Conduct security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in the organization's networks and systems.
  • Develop security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Research information security topics, tools, techniques, and threats as directed
