Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated Cyber Security Analyst to support our Fortune 500 client. This person will be working hybrid-remotely in St. Louis, MO. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years with interpreting risks and impact within IT and cybersecurity environments
- Requires expert knowledge of common information security regulations, frameworks and standards, including NERC CIP compliance
- In-depth understanding of NIST framework
- Experience using SIEM technologies to analyze security logs and dissect threats
- Ability to effectively document and communicate technical concepts and requirements to non-technical and technical audiences, both verbally and written
- Bachelor's degree in the subjects like computer science, information technology, and related subjects or comparable experience and certifications
Desired Skills:
- Any CISSP, CAP, CISA, GSEC, or Security certifications
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop procedures and templates to formalize disaster response and information system contingency planning
- Conduct security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in the organization's networks and systems.
- Develop security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Research information security topics, tools, techniques, and threats as directed
