Summary : Seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate to operate equipment, monitor production quality, and ensure safety compliance in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Adhere to standard operating procedures, company policies, and safety regulations.
Use proper PPE for tasks and maintain it in safe, usable condition.
Operate equipment as trained and instructed by supervisors or experienced personnel.
Monitor product quality throughout production and alert supervisor of compliance issues.
Conduct start-up and shut-down activities as directed.
Participate in cross-training across various plant positions.
Maintain accurate documentation of products produced or used.
Organize and clean the production line, preventing hazards.
Support Autonomous Maintenance Program through greasing, adjusting, or cleaning equipment parts.
Meet safety targets set by management.
Train Laborers and new associates; perform General Laborer duties as needed.
Attend safety meetings and conduct safety audits; punctuality and good attendance are required.
Experience and Skills Requirements :
Comprehension of policies / procedures related to safety, quality, security, and operations.
Strong attention to detail is essential.
Forklift experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
Capable of multitasking and monitoring multiple processes simultaneously.
Prior experience with SOPs is advantageous.
Preferred candidates will have experience working with chemicals or in light chemical manufacturing environments.
Basic math skills applicable to a work setting are necessary.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and directions is required.
Positive attitude towards work with the ability to cooperate within a team setting is crucial.
Demonstrated understanding of safety rules post-training via written or verbal exams is mandatory.
Knowledgeable about facility signage related to operations.
Familiarity with lock-out / tag-out procedures is expected.
Must be familiar with the safe operation of equipment according to SOPs and operator manuals. Understanding Hazard communication policies is required.
Pay Details : $15.00 to $16.00 per hour
