- Ensures the activities of the corporate accounting department are accurate and timely for dissemination of financial management reports including internal and external monthly financial statements and annual review/audits and annual budgets.
- Processes all activities of the accounts payable department
- Assists the activities of the accounts receivable department to ensure the accurate and timely management of all accounts receivable aging components including billings, cash receipts applications, bank deposits, etc.
- Processes the activities and maintenance of the general ledger to ensure the accurate and timely processing of all accounts, including the issuing of financial statements.
- Processes lien waivers for accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Administers and maintains employee benefit programs.
- Maintains training records in employee files and updates safety training company.
- Maintains and records employee testing and certifications.
- Processes and maintains miscellaneous payroll reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Five years of hands-on accounting managerial experience
- Experience in human resource management a plus
- Strong background in financial management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
- Ability to organize and prioritize effectively.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
