Dental Receptionist:

Responsibilities:

  • Acknowledge and greet patients upon arriving and leaving
  • Respond to patient questions and/or concerns and escalate if needed
  • Answering telephones, schedule and confirm appointments and manage front desk voicemail
  • Follow up on no shows and cancellation of appointments
  • Register patients from sign in sheet
  • Post charges and payments to patient accounts
  • Maintain the waiting area for patients
  • Perform other tasks as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Experience answering the telephone in a professional environment
  • Experience in the Dental or Healthcare Industry is required
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Strong communication and multi-tasking skills
  • Knowledge of insurance plans preferred
  • Experience with Dentrix is preferred
