Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia, PC is Hiring a Patient Care Representative Near Springfield, PA
Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia is a professional medical organization committed to the healing mission of Medicine. CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 40 locations throughout the Philadelphia area.
We are currently hiring for a full-time Patient Care Representative to work at our Springfield, PA location.
Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, greet, and direct patients
- Schedule tests and follow-up appointments as patients leave the office
- Review instructions for studies scheduled with patients
- Enter charges as patient is leaving, as well as during downtime
- Call patients to confirm appointments
- Verify demographics, insurance, and pcp information at time of check-in
- Collect co-pays
- Obtain prior authorizations/precertifications for all office testing and procedures
- Ensure all add-on and same-day testing procedures have proper authorization prior to being performed
- Make sure referrals are in and request them for the hospital.
- Ensure the accuracy of all patient information in the billing system

Requirements:
- Must have the ability to multitask
- Computer knowledge is a must
- Experience with an EMR system is a plus
- Must be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoing
- Must have experience in a medical office setting
- Must have knowledge of different insurance

*If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign-on bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date. In the event that you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire, you will be required to repay the full amount of your sign-on bonus.
