SUMMARY
Assists in providing safe transportation so that students may enjoy the fullest possible advantage from the district's curriculum and extracurricular program.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assists the Transport driver in maintaining good conduct of all students assigned to the aide.
- Assists young or disabled students in getting on and off the bus.
- Provides basic first aid and administers prescription emergency medications as needed.
- Provides behavior support for student.
5.. Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
- Demonstrates positive relationship with students, staff and parents.
- Establishes a supportive and empathetic relationship with students.
- Performs related duties as assigned by supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Must possess valid Ohio driver's license.
- Must pass criminal background check.
- Nusing background preferred
5 CPI / Safety training preferred - may be trained after employment
Behavior management and medication administration certifications - may be obtained after employment
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT :
Effective Date :
ASAP
- Terms of Employment : One-year probationary period.
- Salary and Benefits : According to the current negotiated agreement. $15.17 / hour
