K9 Clubhouse is Hiring a Kennel Attendant Near Spring, TX
K9 Clubhouse is currently looking to fill casual position for kennel attendants. If you like working in a fast paced environment, have experience with dogs and are punctual, reliable and have good work ethic please apply now!
Responsibilities:
- Must be comfortable handling dogs of all breeds and sizes
- Provide daily care and attention to dogs in the kennel
- Feed, water, administer meds and exercise dogs according to their individual needs
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and daycare area
- Monitor the health and behavior of dogs and report any concerns to management
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing animals
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and behaviour
- Update dog owners and mangement with pictures and report cards
- Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with animals in a professional setting, such as a veterinary clinic or animal shelter
- Knowledge of basic animal care and behavior
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and staff
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to animal care
- Must be able to work (on call):
Saturday/Sunday 6:30am-3pm, Monday/Tuesday 3-11pm
OR
Wednesday-Sunday 3pm-11pm
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in pet sitting or dog walking services
- Familiarity with dog behaviour
