We are a local construction company and we are looking for our next Construction Worker. This is a true utility player role, where the more you know about general construction the better. We do residential remodels mostly but not exclusively. The Construction Worker is responsible for performing a variety of tasks at construction sites in the Greater Spokane area. The role involves hands-on physical labor and operation of machinery under the direction of site supervisors. This position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to work as part of a team, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in Construction Tasks: Includes carrying materials, setting up equipment, and preparing sites.
• Operating Machinery: Operate machinery like forklifts, bulldozers, or cement mixers, depending on expertise.
• Following Instructions: Follow directions from supervisors and adhere to safety protocols and construction plans.
• Material Handling: Load and unload materials, organize supplies, and ensure they are safely stored.
• Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe construction site.
• Basic Carpentry and Masonry: Participate in framing, pouring concrete, and installing drywall.
• Assisting Skilled Workers: Support skilled professionals like carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.

Requirements:

• Physical Fitness: Ability to engage in heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and rigorous activity.
• Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols.
• Basic Construction Skills: Knowledge of construction techniques, tools, and materials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $40.00 per hour
