Responsibilities:
The Staff Nurse (LPN / RN) will be responsible for:
- Performing allergy testing
- Pulmonary function testing
- Administering allergy injections
- Monitoring for anaphylaxis
- Patient education
- Documenting care in the EMR systems
- Obtaining authorizations
- Performing other duties, as needed
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Active NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and/or licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
- Comfortable working with all ages from Infant to Geriatric
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
- Patient oriented
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
