Under the direction of the Director-Facilities, perform a variety of responsible duties in the preparation of surfaces and painting of District buildings and facilities; mix and apply paints or other surface coatings to buildings, equipment and furniture.

Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school supplemented by completion of an approved apprenticeship program in painting and one year journey-level experience in the painting trade. Valid California driver's license, and a driving record acceptable to the District for insurance purposes. Applicants who pass the paper screening will be contacted to participate in a written test.
