The Role : Desktop Support Technician

As a Desktop Support Technician, you'll be the guardian of our digital realm, ensuring that our employees can seamlessly navigate through their tech woes.

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities (a.k.a. Your Chocolate-Coated Superpowers) :

  • Tech Whisperer : Provide first-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices, ensuring our employees can work without a hitch.
  • Rapid Response : Swiftly respond to and resolve technical issues, whether in person, over the phone, or through remote tools, like a superhero answering the call for help.
  • Software Sorcery : Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware components with the finesse of a master chocolatier crafting a delectable treat.
  • System Superhero : Perform system upgrades and regular maintenance, keeping our tech infrastructure as fresh and delightful as our signature chocolate boxes.
  • Network Ninja : Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, ensuring our digital pathways flow as smoothly as our rich, velvety chocolate.
  • Tech Concierge : Assist with the setup and deployment of new equipment, making sure our employees have the tools they need to shine.
  • Digital Documentarian : Document technical issues and resolutions, creating a treasure trove of knowledge for future reference.
  • Tech Tutor : Provide training and guidance to users, ensuring they can navigate our tech landscape with ease.
  • Security Sentinel : Ensure the security and privacy of our networks and computer systems, protecting our digital assets like a watchful guardian.

Qualifications (a.k.a. Your Secret Ingredients) :

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience (because tech wizardry requires a solid foundation).
  • 2 years of experience in a desktop support or similar role (you've already proven your worth in the tech realm).
  • Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems (because versatility is key in the digital world).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other common business applications (you know your way around the digital toolbox).
  • Strong understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP / IP, DNS, and DHCP (because you speak the language of the digital realm fluently).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues (because tech challenges are like puzzles waiting to be solved).
