The Broadway is hiring for Server Positions. We are looking for fun, excitable, reliable and flexible staff members to deal directly with our clientele face to face.

Servers responsibilities include:

• Greet and take orders from guests
• Ring orders into the kitchen accurately
• Mange your section of tables in an efficient manner
• Check guest's IDs and provide proper and responsible alcohol service
• Know the menu and offer suggestions while also answering any questions guest's may have
• Develop relationships with your guests and utilize sales techniques to get the most out of every table
• Coordinate with Hosts, Bar and Kitchen staff to ensure we are working as a team
• Maintain a clean and presentable section, station and uniform
• Read your guests and ensure we are offering proper service to high attention guests (Children, Families, etc.)
• Run Food and Bus tables as needed to keep the restaurant turning tables and functioning at high efficiency
• Complete assigned opening, closing and running sidework

Requirements

• Pertinent experience in a direct or related field
• Understanding of restaurant etiquette
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations
• Experience in serving tables or dealing with face-to-face customer interaction
• Flexibility in scheduling
• High level of communication skills both with guests and management
• Organizational skills to manage your section and the restaurant on the whole
• A positive demeanor and willingness to work in a fun, energetic and fast paced environment.
• Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift
• Ability to read your tables and anticipate needs of guests
• Willingness to participate in a rigorous training schedule prior to being scheduled live shifts

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.25 - $36.32 per hour
