Responsibilities:

• Guest Service Excellence:
• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Provide recommendations on menu items, specials, and beverage pairings.
• Order Management:
• Effectively communicate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Monitor and manage table turnover to optimize seating capacity.
• Knowledgeable Engagement:
• Stay informed about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Answer customer questions regarding the menu, specials, and beverage options.
• Upselling and Promotion:
• Upsell additional menu items or suggest promotions to enhance the guest experience.
• Promote featured dishes, drinks, and events to boost sales.
• Table Maintenance:
• Ensure tables are set up appropriately and are clean and presentable.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a smooth dining experience.
• Cash Handling:
• Process customer payments accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash and electronic transactions responsibly.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to maintain a cohesive and positive team environment.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth service operations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a server in a high-volume restaurant or gastropub setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
• Knowledge of food and beverage trends, including craft beers and cocktails.
• Positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
