American Provisions, a small neighborhood shop specialty grocer in South Boston, is looking for a General Manager to join our team.

As the sister shop to natural wine bar Gray’s Hall, we strive to cultivate a place of community through good, local food and exceptional service. We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused GM to join us and help fulfill our mission. You will work closely with the owners to oversee all aspects of the shop’s core staples (wine, charcuterie, sandwiches, coffee, etc.), along with the training and development of its FOH team. You will run the day-to-day operations, while contributing to future growth and development of the team and business.

As GM you will value creating relationships with staff and guests, model hard work, and be a master of all roles. While you will have the ability to jump seamlessly onto any station at any given time, you will also be able to rise above the dance floor to the balcony to see all of the moving pieces of the shop in tandem.

In this position, the GM will feel comfortable making decisions in the best interest of the shop’s team, mission and culture.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
