You must understand the importance of working cooperatively with the rest of the office staff, have compassion for our customers, and be able to communicate clearly with co-workers and vendors.

As Accounts Payable/Office Administration your main duties will be to collect, organize, and issue payment on incoming invoices.

  • Print incoming emailed invoices and collect all mailed invoices
  • Review invoice for discrepancies, stamp, and enter all invoices into payables system
  • Contact vendors by email or telephone regarding all aspects of invoices in required
  • Follow guidelines for payment schedule and issue checks as payment
  • Prepare checks to be mailed
  • Maintain filing system of copies of all payables
  • Prepare credit applications for prospective vendors
  • Enter new customers into company database
  • Prepare various reports using company database and Excel
  • Maintain and order office supplies

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 years clerical experience
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to multitask, communicate, and cooperate with people of various backgrounds
  • Flexibility and receptiveness to learning new tasks and skills
